Helping to Protect Our Oceans Through Art
As an artist who specializes in painting beautiful and delicate tropical seascapes, and who is deeply committed to environmental conservation, I have always believed in the power of art to inspire change. Through my work, I strive to encourage art and ocean enthusiasts to embrace their passion for creativity while also fostering a profound sense of responsibility towards our oceans and marine ecosystems.
In a world where our oceans face unprecedented threats from pollution, over-fishing, and climate change, it is imperative that we recognize the vital role these waters play in our planet's health and the importance of preserving them for future generations.
Through my art, I aim to ignite a sense of wonder and reverence for the ocean's beauty, while also prompting individuals to take meaningful actions to protect and preserve these precious environments.
That is why I donate to organizations that help protect our oceans:
The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit organization, is developing and scaling technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. Our aim is to put ourselves out of business once the oceans are clean.
The Cousteau Society has the mission of using knowledge to influence world policy that will help us protect our planet and educate people so that they will care about our Water Planet and work to keep it alive and healthy for future generations.
Tampa Bay Watch is dedicated to fostering a healthy Tampa Bay watershed through community driven restoration projects, education programs and outreach initiatives.
